MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) is a technical indicator used in trading to analyze price trends and determine buying or selling moments. It is based on the difference between two moving averages of asset prices (usually 12-period and 26-period).
MACD consists of three components:
MACD line - the difference between the short (fast) and long (slow) moving averages.
